Missana was founded with the aim of providing a fashion forward earring collection ideally suited to our unique Australian aesthetic and lifestyle. 

After returning to live in Australia following a stint overseas I found it difficult to indulge my personal love of earring shopping. Department stores and large high street jewellery chains seemed to offer cookie cutter earrings and they all looked a bit ‘meh, same same’. 

Given the jewellery contacts I made while living overseas and my professional experience in design and product development, I thought I would combine it all together and start my own online earring business.

But why only earrings I hear you ask? Simply because I love them! Love how earrings can provide the finishing touch and pull together a fashion look. And I adore the way they add sparkle and shimmer to illuminate your face. Most of all I particularly love how they help express your very own individual fashion style.  

The business is a  whole lot of fun, which is important, and underpinning the fun part we have  3 key guiding principles for everything we do.
